Oil and Gas EPC : Weightage for Engineering Discipline

In an EPC project, Engineering progress usually measured by assigning a weight which are the number of required man-hours  for each deliverable.

Once the task is deliverable is issued or approved, the corresponding man-hours are earned..In a typical project, engineering progress is measured as level 2 (phase) and level 3 (engineering discipline) and level 4 (document, RFQ, Datasheet and etc).

The progress calculation is done based on engineering work steps and their weight factors for an engineering drawing. See the below sample work steps and weight factors.
