What is being shared now is progress tracking excel sheet for a vessel fabrication. To provide some clarity i attached a simple presentation overview on how a vessel being fabricated.

A pressure vessel is a closed container designed to hold gases or liquids at a pressure substantially different from the ambient pressure. If you are handling oil and gas project then chances of you comes across different types of vessels is very high.

There are many types of vessels out there such as dehydrator vessel, filter vessel, coalescers or filter separator vessel and many more.

How to manage Project Delay in Primavera P6

A subnet or fragnet is the best way to demonstrate a delay.In this method we will use fragnet to logically tie in to the network in order show the impact of changes to the schedule. This method also helps us to keep the historical data of the delays and grouping it with delay classification.

In my previous project, the EPC contractor planning team will sit with the client's team during the window analysis session in order to go through the events of delays. Good things about this practise is that both parties are aware of what is going on and work towards expediting the projects. After all EOT claim is an exhausting process for both team to go through.
